SameSky Health launches new CultureGuide® Virtual Health Assistant

North Hollywood, CA • May 10, 2023 — Today, SameSky Health Inc. announced the launch of its new CultureGuide Virtual Health Assistant, a new modality leveraging cognitive voice response to engage health plan members through personalized, culturally tailored phone calls, at scale.

CultureGuide delivers a comprehensive, personalized healthcare journey between health plans and their members. Each time SameSky Health begins a new partnership with its clients, the first step involves analyzing member data to identify gaps in health-equity-related data such as race, ethnicity, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, and social drivers of health factors.

Josh Siegel, chief technology officer for SameSky Health said, "Our CultureGuide platform enables us to continuously collect and incorporate member self-reported data, members’ individual communications preferences, and other relevant data to inform personalized outreach strategies. We believe in meeting people where they are, and we are excited to be able to extend our capabilities to address the needs of members who prefer to interact via speech.”

“Experience has taught us that a multimodal approach including live agent interactions, text, email, and phone is most effective for maximizing engagement with members,” said Abner Mason, founder and CEO for SameSky Health. “Our number one focus is to guide members on their annual wellness journeys by building trusted relationships that enable us to create a better experience for members as they navigate our complex healthcare system.”

The CultureGuide Virtual Health Assistant enables SameSky Health to increase the intelligence and personalization of voice phone interactions to further enhance the member experience.
